Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.
Approximately six weeks after the end of each semester, the OAS publishes a Semiannual Management and Performance Report, which since 2013 includes reporting on programmatic results. The full texts may be found here.

The OAS has discussed for several years the real estate issue, the funding required for maintenance and repairs, as well as the deferred maintenance of its historic buildings. Suriname Assumes Chair of the OAS Inter-American Council for Integral Development

The Permanent Representative of Suriname to the Organization of American States (OAS), Jan Marten Schalkwijk, today assumed the Chair of the Inter-American Council for Integral Development (CIDI) of the Organization, a position that he will hold until December 2025.
During a ceremony held at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., Ambassador Schalkwijk, said that during his period, the primary focus would be “capacity building to improve trade in the Americas as a pillar of inclusive and sustainable development.”
For his part, the outgoing Vice Chair of CIDI and Representative of Colombia to the OAS, Luis Ernesto Vargas, said “On behalf of the outgoing Chair of CIDI, Ambassador Gilchrist of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and also on my own behalf, thank you all for your support during our term, and best wishes for success to those assuming the Chair and Vice Chair positions.”
The Vice Chair for the second term of the year will be exercised by the Permanent Representative of Brazil, Benoni. The Chair of CIDI rotates every six months according to alphabetical order in Spanish.
