Permanent Council to Elect Member of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a special meeting on Friday, July 11 at 10:30 EDT (14:30 GMT) in the Hall of the Americas at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., to elect a member of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR).

The candidates for the vacancy on the IACHR are José Luis Caballero Ochoa of Mexico and Fábio de Sá e Silva of Brazil.
