OAS Permanent Council to Receive Report on Progress of the Roadmap for Haiti and Consider Draft Declaration on Guatemala

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, November 5, at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT) in the Simón Bolívar Room at OAS headquarters in Washington, DC to receive the “Presentation of the progress report by the Secretary General on the Haitian-led Roadmap for stability and peace with regional and international support,” consider the draft declaration “Support for Democracy and the Constitutional Order in Guatemala,” and analyze the impact of Hurricane Melissa on the Caribbean region, among other topics.
