OAS Opens Call for Submissions for the Inter-American Award for Innovation in Public Management 2025

The Organization of American States (OAS), through its Department for Effective Public Management (DEPM) has launched the call for submissions for the 2025 edition of the Inter-American Award for Innovation in Public Management. The award is open to all public institutions - at both national and subnational levels - in OAS member states.
The main objective of the award is to strengthen democratic governance in the region by improving the public administrations in the countries of the Americas through the dissemination and exchange of innovative experiences in effective public management. This initiative is also being carried out in collaboration with the OAS Department of Social Inclusion and the Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM).
Since the first edition in 2013, the initiative has received 743 innovative experiences from across the region. So far, 42 special recognitions have been granted, and 34 public institutions from 19 countries— Argentina, Belize, Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Dominican Republic, Trinidad & Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela —have been awarded for their outstanding contributions.
