Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.
Approximately six weeks after the end of each semester, the OAS publishes a Semiannual Management and Performance Report, which since 2013 includes reporting on programmatic results. The full texts may be found here.

New Permanent Representative of Argentina to the OAS Presented Credentials

The new Permanent Representative of Argentina to the Organization of American States (OAS), Nilda Garré, today presented to the Secretary General, José Miguel Insulza, the credentials that accredit her to the hemispheric institution.
During the ceremony, held at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., Ambassador Garré, who was appointed in that position by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner last July, expressed her commitment to the work of the Organization. "I am grateful for the honor that the President has conferred upon me by assigning me to such an important organization, which allows us to continue working together for the fundamental values and objectives of this institution, in which we strongly believe and that are critical for the benefit of our peoples, such as democracy, security, human rights, integral development, and peace," she said.
"Convinced that these are the issues that should guide our actions, from now on I commit all my effort and I convey my absolute willingness to cooperate with you in any initiative aimed at promoting these objectives," added Ambassador Garré.
For his part, Secretary General Insulza welcomed Argentina's Representative and thanked the Government of President Fernández for appointing "such an important personality, who has a very impressive public service career as Minister of Defense and Public Security and who has always served within the context of a political project that has taken her to hemispheric ministerial meetings."
The OAS leader added that the presence of the new Representative of Argentina "is very beneficial at a time when we hope to begin the discussion of the major issues that this organization must face as a priority. From that perspective, we are convinced that your contribution will be invaluable." In the same vein, the Secretary General recalled that the contribution of the Republic of Argentina to the Organization "from the conceptual, political and material standpoint, is characterized by a strict adherence to its commitments and by matching words to actions."
Ambassador Garré is a lawyer with a long career in public service. Among her professional achievements, she was the first woman appointed to serve as Minister of Security in the history of her country.
