Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Secretary General expresses satisfaction with the meeting between the Presidents of Colombia, Venezuela and Honduras

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, expressed his satisfaction regarding the meeting held today between the Presidents of the Republic of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos, of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez, and of Honduras, Porfirio Lobo, the aim of which was to propose solutions that would allow a full return of Honduras to the OAS.
"I have been informed by President Santos of the specific advances made in this meeting, which are expected to be formally announced in the coming days", declared Secretary General Insulza. "I hope that an agreement can be reached that is satisfactory for all parties, taking into consideration the points of view expressed by the countries of the Americas during this long process. I’m sure that all OAS Member States will respect any agreement reached between the Hondurans” he added.
The Secretary General thanked the Presidents of Colombia and Venezuela for their involvement and expressed the hope that this would lead to a resolution of this problem, which has been outstanding for almost two years "for the good of the Honduran people and for the strengthening of democracy throughout the region ".
